Coldplay releasing new album, Mylo Xyloto, on October 25th

Coldplay have announced that on October 25th their new album, Mylo Xyloto, will be in stores. Of course, Mylo Xyloto, comes from latin which means “Why the fuck would a band use those words in an album title.”

The album will be released in CD, digital and in vinyl formats and will also have a special Pop Up Album edition. It will feature a book with pop-up artwork, a vinyl and CD version of the album, selections from the band’s studio diary, photos and other little things that make albums “special edition”.

There’s no full tracklisting yet but the band will release a new single, “Paradise,” on September 12th. Of course you remember “Every Teardrop is a Waterfall,” right?
