Listen: Mastodon – “Curl of the Burl”
The first official single from Mastodon’s forthcoming album, The Hunter, called “Curl of the Burl” is available to download on iTunes today. But, if you need a test drive of the track, you can hit play down below to check it out. We’ve already checked out “Black Tongue” but this song seems to be a bit more…radio friendly? In other words, it’s got a hook that’s easier to catch as opposed to “Black Tongue.” It’s still a good song that you can definitely bang your head too if you feel so inclined. The Hunter is out on September 27th.

This is a pretty great track, reminds me of some classic Black Sabbath for some reason. I’m defiantly excited for this album.
