On Thursday, August 12th, Green Day played an intimate show in Costa Mesa, California at the Tiki Bar and slammed the eardrums of audiences with a barrage of all new tracks. Coldplay have announced that on October 25th their new album, Mylo Xyloto, will be in stores. Of course, Mylo Xyloto, comes from latin which means "Why the fuck would a band use those words in an album title."

Smashing Pumpkins announce 12-date US tour

It comes to a close on October 22nd in Philadelphia and tickets for most shows go on sale at August 19th.
