Blakroc 2 is coming soon
Oh joy of joys! It looks like the sequel to the amazing album, Blakroc, which featured the Black Keys providing beats to artists like Mos Def, Jim Jones, RZA and more, is on its way soon.
Up top is a trailer for Blakroc 2 (thanks to Consequence of Sound) which features Grammy winners Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney laying down some new blues-rock beats for rappers including Talib Kweli, Jay Electronica, U God, Currren$y, Wiz Khalifa, The Cool Kids, Sean Price, Jim Jones and a whole bunch of some fine reefer. We have no release date yet so keep smoking that weed and I’m sure you’ll see one eventually.
Oh yeah! There’s also that OTHER Black Keys album coming out at the end of this year that’s produced by Danger Mouse. Joy!
