Listen: Modeselektor and Thom Yorke collaborations



Need some new beats to skitter around to? I bring you two tracks from Modeselektor’s forthcoming album, Monkeytown, called “Shipwreck” and “She” (courtesy of 107.7 The End).

Here’s the thing. I love Radiohead hence Thom Yorke is a hero of mine. But these “songs” if that’s what you want to call them…yeah, they don’t do it for me. Looped beats and Yorke doesn’t even sound interested in singing on the tracks. If you like them then enjoy. I’ll just keep listening to The King of Limbs if I want songs along these lines.
