After 31 years, R.E.M. decided to finally call it quits. So why not release one more greatest hits album so people that were casual fans can bum rush the record store to pick up the album that’s essentially a crash course of the band’s catalog?

R.E.M. will release Part Lies, Part Heart, Part Truth, Part Garbage: 1982-2011 on November 15th. It will consist of 40 songs that will stretch out over two discs and features all the tracks you love including “Everybody Hurts,” “It’s The End Of The World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine),” “Man On The Moon” and more. Also, three new tracks, “A Month of Saturdays,” “Hallelujah,” “We All Go Back To Where We Belong,” also appear on this compilation. “We All Go Back To Where We Belong” will also serve as a radio single that will be released on October 18th.
