Mastodon’s new monster album, The Hunter, got its television debut last night on Late Show with David Letterman (via The Audio Perv). I know there are a few Mastodon fans that aren’t the biggest supporters of “Curl of the Burl” saying it sounds too mainstream and not progressive. Well, fuck your opinion. Watch their performance up top and tell me it’s too mainstream as you headbang hard enough that your neck might snap. The Hunter is in stores now. I suggest you get it.
