Coheed and Cambria drummer quits band
First, disgraced bassist Michael Todd gets kicked out of Coheed and Cambria. Now, drummer Chris Pennie has announced that he has quit the band after playing with them for four years.

Pennie released a statement regarding his departure which read as thus:
“I am very thankful for the years that I shared the stage with the guys and want to thank the amazing, supportive fans that I’ve met while on tour, but there are a lot of exciting projects on the horizon, in addition to Return To Earth and Fight Mannequins, that I feel require my absolute 100 percent commitment and attention. I feel that this is the right time to make that happen.”
Besides formerly drumming in Coheed, Pennie was also formerly behind the kit in Dillinger Escape Plan. Looks like he wants to focus on his other projects. The remaining members of Coheed also released a statement saying, “Tough decisions were made today that will help shape this band for the coming years. We extend our deepest appreciation to Chris Pennie for an incredible journey.”
As of now, Coheed are without a permanent bassist and drummer. Let’s see how this plays out.
