Listen: Two unreleased Radiohead demos hit the web

A bit of history for the uninformed. Back when Radiohead was just starting out, they were called On A Friday. Reason being that the only time could get together to rehearse was on Fridays.

Normally the earliest recordings diehard Radiohead fans can find of the band is the Manic Hedgehog EP but thanks to some sharp eyesight from Consequence of Sound, we’ve come across two demos of RH back when they were still On A Friday.

Down below, you can check out two demos from the band called “Everybody Knows” and “Girl (In The Purple Dress)”. Will these demos blow you away? Not at all but it’s interesting to hear the genesis of the world’s greatest band. Plus, you get to hear Radiohead incorporate a saxophone solo and be a band without Jonny Greenwood on guitar. Give ‘em a listen.
