Gorillaz releasing special edition Chuck Taylors for Converse
Thursday, November 17th, 2011
Normally when a band releases a special edition shoe from Converse, I stay away from them. I mean I love me some Chuck Taylors but the ones released by bands are always tacky looking and splash the band logo all over the shoe. I'm not a fan of that...but these I could see being laced up on my feet.
Gorillaz are releasing their brand of Chuck Taylors with Converse and they look pretty damn good. They were designed by Gorillaz animator… Read More

Tuesday, November 15th, 2011Listen: Deadmau5 covers Radiohead’s “Codex”
Monday, November 14th, 2011
It's another case of electronic music merging with the world of rock and roll. This time, Canadian superstar DJ/producer Deadmau5 has taken on the task of covering Radiohead and the beautiful song "Codex" from The King Of Limbs (via CoS).
Check out the meh cover down below. I say meh because while the instrumentation is okay, the song is nothing without Thom Yorke's vocals.… Read More

So it's only right that DM would announce a tour dubbed the St. Patrick's Day tour. The fun kicks off on February 22nd in Toronto, ON… Read More

Watch: Foo Fighters & Joan Jett play “Bad Reputation”
Monday, November 14th, 2011I'm just a fan of this all the way through. Not only do I own the very same Dan Armstrong Ampeg guitar that Dave Grohl plays in the video but the Foo Fighters rocked Madison Square Garden last night with Joan Jett.
Our good buddy The Audio Perv had ringside seats to this spectacle. The Foos and the legendary Joan Jett ripped through a version of Jett's "Bad Reputation" in front of a screaming NYC crowd. Watch the video up top whilst I hate myself for not going to this show.… Read More
