RiO!B Review: The Black Keys – El Camino

On today’s episode of the Rock it Out! Blog, I review the new album from The Black Keys called El Camino.

This album is nothing like their previous effort, Brothers. Where Brothers fused blues-rock with an R&B vibe, El Camino focuses more on a 70′s garage rock sound while also making you dance. My favorite tracks are “Lonely Boy,” “Little Black Submarines,” “Run Right Back” and “Dead And Gone”.

What are your thoughts on the album?

An album that will make you want to “get up off your ass and dance.” That’s exactly how I would have said it. I’m not a huge fan of The Black Keys but they have grown on me a lot and I’m definitely enjoying the feel of this new album.
