Queens Of The Stone Age, The Gaslight Anthem, My Morning Jacket and more appear on Amnesty International compilation

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Amnesty International, the group has released a massive compilation called Chimes of Freedom: The Songs of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International. The four disc compilation, featuring 75 tracks, can be streamed for free over at Amnesty’s Facebook page. The album will be released on January 24th with all the profits going to Amnesty International.
Included in this compilation are bands like Queens of the Stone Age, The Gaslight Anthem, My Morning Jacket, Cage The Elephant, Silversun Pickups, Dave Matthews Band, Tom Morello, Mariachi El Bronx, The Who’s Pete Townshend, Elvis Costello, Fistful of Mercy, Bad Religion and many more tackling the songs of Bob Dylan as only they know how. Sadly this album is sullied by artists like Miley Cyrus and Ke$ha but….it’s for charity, right? We can’t be TOO mad.
The full tracklisting can be seen down below and you can also check out QOTSA’s cover of Dylan’s “Outlaw Blues”.
