Watch: Red Hot Chili Peppers – “Look Around”
Behold a brand new video from Red Hot Chili Peppers for the track “Look Around” from their newest album, I’m With You.
The video features each member of RHCP performing in their own separate rooms that “loosely represented the band members’ personalities, so almost all the props and artwork in the rooms came from their personal collections,” according to the band’s website.
Flea has definitely got the best room which includes a hot punk-rock chick and whipped cream fights while guitarist Josh Klinghoffer looks to be going for the minimalist approach. Drummer Chad Smith is saving time by combining his bedroom and workout area and Anthony Kiedis is just an all around family man.
If you haven’t been paying attention, the band just released a batch of new North American tour dates. Catch up by clicking here to see them.

Not gonna try and hide it, I’m With You is the Chili’s worst album. But then again, what can you expect? This is their 10th album. Anthony looks like he’s almost 50 or something, so I wouldn’t expect a return to albums like Mother’s Milk and BSSM. And with Frusciante gone, we can’t even hope for something like Californication and By The Way. The only person with any punk or funk left in the band is Flea. It shows in this video. RHCP has matured. Big time. It just so happens that I’m With You is what a matured RHCP sounds like, so get used to it.
