Watch: Serj Tankian – “Figure It Out”

Serj Tankian has released his music video for his new single, “Figure It Out,” and you can check it out down below (via Noisecreep). His new solo album, Harakiri, will be released on July 10th.

The manic video has Tankian leading a band in song before grabbing a camera and barging into a C.E.O boardroom with a ton of angry 99 percenters to tear shit up. Needless to say, Tankian is on the side of revolution and wants to provide a soundtrack for it.

Sleigh Bells continue to pepper the internet with new music videos from their newest album, Reign Of Terror. This time the track “Demons” gets the video treatment and you can check it out down below. You can also check out a remix of the song done by Diplo.

The clip features footage from live shows that happened in Omaha, Oklahoma City, Dallas, and Houston, TX. According to guitarist Derek Miller, who was also the director of the video, he said the clip was inspired by “classic Pantera videos”.

Ever been with someone during a meal and they started choking? Did you become panicked and not know how to save them? Keep calm and carry on because Sigur Rós is here to help.

In a video for their new song “Ég anda” off of their forthcoming album, Valtari, you are shown the proper way to confirm that someone is choking and how to properly administer the Heimlich maneuver. The video was directed by Ragnar Kjartansson and is the first in a series of videos Sigur Rós has commissioned for the new album. More videos will be released in the near future. Check out “Ég anda” down below.

Valtari will be released on May 29th.

Finally a little love for the guy behind the scenes at every single rock show. Tenacious D give it up for roadies in their music video for “The Roadie” starring Danny McBride as the ultimate black clad roadie, Sebastian.

Check out the video down below and keep in mind that the new D album, Rize Of The Fenix, is out next Tuesday. For now, though, keep a spot in your heart for the guys and gals that lug the gear on stage, rock those mic checks and make sure the band sounds as good as they can. Then remember that none of them will ever be as good as Sebastian.

It’s convenient that Soundgarden would release the video for their new song, “Live To Rise”, on the day I’m seeing The Avengers at midnight. The song appears on the soundtrack for the movie and is currently available for you to purchase. Check out the video down below and be sure to check back on Friday, May 4th for the Rock it Out! Blog’s review of the soundtrack. For now, just watch Soundgarden play in front of explosions and in between clips of the movie.

What’s better than having one music video for the Paul McCartney song, “My Valentine”? Three music videos. And what’s better than having three videos for the same song? Two of them feature Natalie Portman.

Down below you can check out all three videos for “My Valentine” with one featuring Portman, the other featuring Johnny Depp and the third featuring both actors. The videos are in black and white and are also for the hearing impaired since both Depp and Portman are signing the lyrics to the song.

McCartney’s newest album, Kisses On The Bottom, is currently out.

Van Halen has released a brand new video for their newest single, “She’s The Woman”, from their new album, A Different Kind Of Truth. This is one of my personal favorites from the album but I wish they did something a bit different with the video.

You can check it out down below. It features a mix of footage between their rehearsals and their live shows but I think this video should have had a different idea behind it. I wouldn’t have minded seeing David Lee Roth thundering down a highway with a hot blonde by his side as they roll down the top of the car and she starts dancing. Yes it’s cheesy and 1980′s but so is the track so it makes sense.

Bruce Springsteen announces more North American tour dates

The Boss is back on the road in North America this coming August and September. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will be performing in stadiums in eight North American cities including Wrigley Field in Chicago, MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey and the Rogers Centre in Toronto. All of the dates can be seen down below.

Also down below you can check out a brand new video from Springsteen for the Wrecking Ball track, “Death To My Hometown”. It compiles footage from his performance at the Apollo Theater in New York City, the show at South By Southwest and a performance in Atlanta, GA. It also includes a cameo from Tom Morello.

Watch: Pantera – “Piss”

Just when you thought you could never get enough Pantera in your life, we got ourselves a video for a brand new song from the band.

Pantera’s 1992 album, Vulgar Display of Power, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and is being reissued in honor of the fact. The 20th anniversary edition will be in stores on May 15th and features a previously unreleased track called “Piss”. The band just released a video for the track which features tons of Pantera fans showing their love for the band the only way they know how; through violence, headbanging and violently headbanging. Check it out down below.

Watch: Jack White – “Sixteen Saltines”

Jack White is fighting for his life in the brand new video for his newest single “Sixteen Saltines”. And who is our hero being held captive by in the clip? A bunch of rambunctious children creating mischief, havoc and a mess wherever they go.

Down below you can check out the video as the kids seem to run things as they dance, destroy property, get prison tattoos and make out with each other using paint. Oh and they also have Jack White as hostage and plan to bring our lord and savior of rock music to a rather unpleasant demise. Will they succeed? Watch and see.

White’s solo album, Blunderbuss, is out on April 24th.
