Deftones bassist Chi Cheng showing signs of improvement

Deftones bassist Chi Cheng, who was involved in a car accident in November of 2008 that left him in a vegetative state, is continuing to show signs of improvement and has even awoken from a semi-comatose state. The second solo album from Slash is set to be released on May 22nd via his own label, Dik Hayd International. While the album has no title or track listing yet, it will only feature his touring band this time including Alter Bridge guitarist Myles Kennedy, drummer Brent Fitz and bassist Todd Kerns.
