Friday, July 6th, 2012

Even though the album is number one in the country, it feels like a regression from their previous album, A Thousand Suns. Even though the album has shades of Hybrid Theory and Meteora in its sound, I feel the band should have continued to move forward with their sound rather than re-visit old ground.

What are your thoughts on the album? Leave… Read More

RiO!B episode – June 20, 2012

On today’s episode of the Rock it Out! Blog, I review the new album from the Smashing Pumpkins, Oceania. I’m happy to say that I’m a fan of this album unlike much of the previous works that Billy Corgan has released in the past. It’s a big rock album where you can hear the whole band getting involved as opposed to Corgan writing and recording the music on his own.

What do you think of this album? Leave a comment or a video response.
