Today’s episode of the Rock it Out! Blog features my review of the new Linkin Park album, Living Things. Even though the album is number one in the country, it feels like a regression from their previous album, A Thousand Suns. Even though the album has shades of Hybrid Theory and Meteora in its sound, I feel the band should have continued to move forward with their sound rather than re-visit old ground.

On today’s episode of the Rock it Out! Blog, I review the new album from the Smashing Pumpkins, Oceania. I’m happy to say that I’m a fan of this album unlike much of the previous works that Billy Corgan has released in the past. It’s a big rock album where you can hear the whole band getting involved as opposed to Corgan writing and recording the music on his own.
