Will Van Halen's new album be the first major album of 2012? It seems that way.
According to the graphic up top (via Van Halen News Desk), the band's first new album featuring singer David Lee Roth will be released on February 7th. VH's last album with Roth was 1984 which was released in 1983.

So I guess Sublime With Rome will now be called....With Rome?
In an interview with L.A. radio station KROQ, original Sublime drummer Bud Gaugh who laid down the beats for Sublime 2.0 announced that he was leaving the band to become a dad again. Saturday Night Live got a dose of Florence Welsh and her Machine when they came to play two tracks from their sophomore album, Ceremonials. Up top you can watch the band play "Shake It Out" and down below, you'll be treated to "No Light, No Light". Granted, Welsh didn't treat the crowd to any flowing, arm-waving dance moves during this performance but it's still a good one to watch.
