30 Seconds To Mars have announced dates in January and February for a tour throughout the U.S.
The band will kick off their stay in the U.S. by playing at the Palms Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on New Year's Eve. Following that, their tour kicks off on January 11th in San Diego and will end on February 5 in Wallingford, CT. Tickets go on sale November 19th at both Ticketmaster.com and Livenation.com.

Rock music winners at the VMA’s

There was a pro and a con to my watching this years VMA's. The pro was that I actually got paid to watch them. The con was that I had to watch every second of the shambles of an award show that MTV presented.
But, being the rock music writer that I am, it is my duty, as much as it pains me, to report on the rock music happenings at this years ceremony. Luckily there wasn't much on the rock front so this will be relatively short.
