Steven Tyler confirmed as American Idol judge

It's officially official, people. Steven Tyler -- lead singer of Aerosmith, solo artist in Japan, dude that looks more like a lady each day -- is now a judge for the upcoming 10th season of American Idol. Joe Perry says he’s out of a job after Aerosmith tour ends

So it looks like American Idol will have a rock n' roll influence on the show next season. Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler will indeed be a judge on the talent competition.
