Slayer continues to keep their name in our minds in 2010. First, it was the epic World Painted Blood. Then a European "Big Four" tour, followed by a tour in North America with Megadeth, Testament and Anthrax. Now, just for funsies, they're releasing a box set of all ten albums that they've released with American Recordings.

With all the Big Four of Thrash shows that were taking place in Europe during the Sonisphere festivals, we here in the U.S. and Canada were a bit peeved that the Euros were getting shows of a historical nature and we got nothing. But all that may change come 2011.

Everyone that was hoping for the Big Four of Thrash - Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax - to get together on stage at the same time and play together got their wish. Earlier tonight, all four bands took the stage at Sonisphere in Sofia, Bulgaria to play the Diamond Head song "Am I Evil?"

The Big Four of Thrash (Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax) are coming together for the first time this summer at the Sonisphere festivals all throughout Europe this summer. Anthrax fans can officially go crazy as former lead singer Joey Belladonna has rejoined the band (via
