Bill Ward may sit out the Black Sabbath reunion

Thursday, February 2nd, 2012

So you know that Black Sabbath reunion that we're all hyped up for? The one where they're touring the world and releasing a new album this year? Well is drummer Bill Ward doesn't get his way, he wants nothing to do with it.

Metallica, Black Sabbath, The Prodigy headlining Download festival

Tuesday, January 17th, 2012

UK rockers, get ready to do some dancing and some headbanging at Donington Park this year. The line up for the 10th annual Download festival was recently announced and the line up is rather big for fans of hard rock and metal.
Headlining this whole shindig are Metallica, Black Sabbath and The Prodigy. You've also got Chase & Status, Biffy Clyro and Soundgarden providing support (even though I think Soundgarden should be a headliner but that's just me.) Other bands… Read More

Even though this is distressing news, Iommi is keeping his head up and has said that he'll continue to participate in Sabbath's 2012 reunion plans which include a world tour and a new… Read More

Tuesday, January 3rd, 2012

On today's episode of the Rock it Out! Blog, I ask if band reunions even matter. Black Sabbath, Van Halen, The Stone Roses and the Rolling Stones are reuniting/touring in 2012 but do people care anymore?
I took a comparison of YouTube video views featuring announcements of tours from Sabbath, Van Halen and the Stone Roses and compared them to other YouTube videos. The results are rather interesting. Read More
