I am a giant fan of Austin, TX especially after this year's phenomenal SXSW festival. The city breathes music and is the perfect place to catch a show. Which is why I'm this close to buying a plane ticket and heading back down there for Austin City Limits.

The RiO!B at SXSW

From March 15-20, I resided in Austin, TX for the 25th installment of the South by Southwest festival. This was my second go-around at SXSW and it was infinitely better than last year's just after the first night! Between the shows, late night pedicab rides, Texas BBQ, riots, uprisings, running into old friends, making new friends and holding our very own party to end the week, this is a week that will remain as one of the RiO!B's best and most fun.

The 10th anniversary of the Sasquatch music festival, which takes place in George, Washington, is going to have quite the lineup this year. For starters, Foo Fighters, Death Cab For Cutie, Wilco, Modest Mouse and The Flaming Lips are headlining this installment, which runs from May 27-30. The Virgin Mobile FreeFest, which takes place at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland, has announced the lineup for their free event. If you're a fan of indie-rock and dance/electronic music, then this is the festival for ya.
