Deftones frontman, Isis members form new band called Palms

It's not enough that Chino Moreno is the frontman of Deftones, has the side project ††† (Crosses) with Far guitarist Shaun Lopez and once had another side project called Team Sleep. The man continues to take on more work and has formed yet another new band called Palms.
Moreno and three former members of the band Isis (Aaron Harris, Clifford Meyer and Jeff Caxide) have joined forces and are planning to release an album this year.

System Of A Down announce North American tour dates

System Of A Down may not be releasing a new album anytime soon but they finally announced more North American tour dates for fans that live in the midwest and on the east coast.
The tour starts on August 2nd in Camden, NJ and will end on August 15th in Chicago, IL. What makes the tour even better is that Deftones will open for SOAD on every stop. All the tour dates are down below and tickets go on sale starting May 4th.

Deftones bassist Chi Cheng, who was involved in a car accident in November of 2008 that left him in a vegetative state, is continuing to show signs of improvement and has even awoken from a semi-comatose state.
