The soundtrack for
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, done by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, is finally available to purchase. But now, for the first time, we get visuals for one of the songs done for the film.
Up top, you can check out a collage video done by the film's director, David Fincher, set to the sound of the cover of Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song" done by Reznor and Ross which features the vocal stylings of Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.…

Here it is, guys. Your first preview of the upcoming soundtrack of
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo done by Oscar winning composers Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. Down below, you can stream the cover of Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song" featuring Karen O from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
I'd say it's a bit more industrial sounding and darker than the original but then we are dealing with Trent Reznor here. What else is it supposed to sound like?
The digital version…

Trent Reznor will never let me down. We cheered when he won an Academy Award for his work on
The Social Network. We got excited when it was announced he was scoring
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Now, we can lose our shit that the dark, industrial lord recruited Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman Karen O to cover Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song" for the movie.
It's been confirmed by
Pitchfork…

I'm really looking forward to the new
Jackass 3-D movie, which comes out on October 15th. So it's good to know that I get an added bonus to my excitement in the form of a Karen O song that appears on the soundtrack.
A new song called "If You're Gonna Be Dumb, You Gotta Be Tough" is sung by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman (via
Antiquiet) can be heard down below. It was…

Ah, the Golden Globe awards. Where actors get together to vote for other actors to win awards for TV shows and movies that would probably never get any recognition at the Oscars. Case in point; Sandra Bullock is up for TWO awards this year. See? Complete madness.
But, as far as music is concerned, some fine rock music acts have made their way onto the nominee list (via
TwentyFourBit).…

For a couple years, some friends of mine have sworn up and down that I look like Max from Maurice Sendak's
Where The Wild Things Are. Well we'll see how much of a resemblance I hold come October 16th when the movie of the same name hits theaters. But I'll not be going to the film just to see if I'm looking in a mirror. I'll also be going to enjoy the soundtrack behind the images.
The movie boasts a soundtrack that some would call indie-tastic. Indie-nomenal.…
