Dream Theater has announced the details of their forthcoming album which is called A Dramatic Turn of Events. It will be in stores on September 13th and will be the first album featuring new drummer Mike Mangini. Mangini was picked after auditioning for the band due to Dream Theater's separation with longtime drummer and founder of the band, Mike Portnoy. The tracklisting for the album is down below.

If you haven't been paying attention since around 8:00 p.m. last night, Mike Portnoy announced that he was going to stop playing drums for his band of 25 years, Dream Theater. Wow. Well I certainly didn't see this coming. Mike Portnoy, legendary drummer of Dream Theater for 25 years, has left the band.
