To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Amnesty International, the group has released a massive compilation called Chimes of Freedom: The Songs of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International. The four disc compilation, featuring 75 tracks, can be streamed for free over at Amnesty's Facebook page. The album will be released on January 24th with all the profits going to Amnesty International.

This weekend isn't just Labor Day weekend but it's also the weekend we celebrate the 20th anniversary of Pearl Jam's existence. The band is doing so by holding their own festival at the Alpine Valley theater in East Troy, Wisconsin. The newest episode of No Reservations with Anthony Bourdain piqued my interest primarily because Josh Homme, frontman of Queens of the Stone Age/Them Crooked Vultures, was the special guest on the episode.
