It only seems right that immediately after the announcement of Radiohead headlining the Coachella festival that the band would also drop some West coast tour dates to compliment their festival appearance.

RH will kick off their left coast stint on April 9th with a show in Seattle, WA and will also make appearances in Santa Barbara, CA and San Jose, CA. All of their released tour dates can be seen down below. Don’t worry, East coast people. Our dates are coming soon.

Radiohead, The Black Keys, Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg headlining Coachella

Well here it is! The lineup that kicks off festival season for 2012 is finally here. Coachella, which takes place in Indio, California on consecutive weekends, will boast the following headliners: The Black Keys, Radiohead and Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg.

Other performers appearing at Coachella this year include At The Drive-in, Pulp, Refused, Arctic Monkeys, Bon Iver, Florence & The Machine, M83, Beirut and plenty of dance acts including AVICII, Afrojack, Girl Talk, Swedish House Mafia and many more.

This year’s Coachella festival will be different from previous ones because this year the festival will run on two consecutive weekends. The festival will take place from April 13-15 and April 20-22. All of the acts booked for the festival will perform on both weekends.

It seems as if more and more people are interested in the sound of Radiohead when they were just young lads of Oxford in the 80s.

Case in point, two more previously unreleased demos from RH recently hit the web (via At Ease) called “Fat Girl” and “Fragile Friend.” You can check out both of them down below. Apparently, “Fat Girl” was recorded at the Abingdon School before guitarist Jonny Greenwood joined.

UPDATE: Another pre-Jonny Greenwood demo has made its way online called “Lemming Trail.” Check it out down below and revel in the heavy bass line and sax solos!

Oh snap! Thom Yorke is killin’ the ones and twos, son! He’s gonna beat that beat up all night!

Now that I’ve gotten my “talk like a retard” quota out of the way, down below you can check out two new tracks from Thom Yorke called “Twist” and “Stuck Together.” You may recognize “Twist” when he premiered it on BBC Radio in late 2011 as part of a mix he broadcast.

Pitchfork reports that the songs were composed by the Radiohead frontman for the fashion company, Rag & Bone, and their runway show back in September at New York Fashion Week.

Starting today, you guys can head over to TheKingOfLimbs.com and download two new songs from Radiohead called “The Daily Mail” and “Staircase.” These songs were performed by the band during their Live From The Basement appearance on the BBC this past summer.

But since it’s the week leading up to the holidays, Radiohead has also provided streams of the songs on YouTube just so you can remind yourself that these tracks are quite good. So check out both songs down below and continue to scratch your head as to why RH didn’t place these two gems on TKOL.

Radiohead will play new songs on 2012 tour

As if seeing Radiohead in 2012 wasn’t enough to make you yearn for the new year, a new piece of information courtesy of rhythm guitarist Ed O’Brien should make you wanna start singing “Auld Lang Syne” today.

In an interview with Mary Anne Hobbs on XFM (via Consequence of Sound), O’Brien said that Radiohead was in the studio rehearsing brand new songs for their upcoming tour. So does that mean new songs equal a new album in the near future? O’Brien said, “if that means at the end of the year we might have nipped into the studio for a couple of weeks and done an EP or something else then it could be, but the thing is to keep it as fluid and flexible as possible.” You can hear O’Brien’s comments down below.

This shouldn’t come as a complete shock since frontman Thom Yorke told Rolling Stone that the band was planning on hitting the studio in December and January.

But before any new music is heard, Radiohead will release two new songs, “The Daily Mail” and “Staircase,” on December 19th as well as the digital version of their Live From The Basement performance.
