I'm normally not into "buzz bands" as I think most of them are "fucking annoying" but the debut album from Sleigh Bells, Treats, has been a favorite listen of mine this year. The concept behind the music is quite simple - vocals, guitar, drum machine - but the result is loud, catchy and very danceable.
