Well this looks promising! This year's Mayhem festival, the touring hard rock and metal celebration, has got itself quite a massive line up this year.
Slipknot and Slayer will be headlining the festival while the side stages will boast bands including Anthrax, Asking Alexandria, The Devil Wears Prada, Whitechapel, High On Fire and As I Lay Dying. Slipknot's own Corey Taylor and Shawn "Clown" Crahan have decided to go into the movie business. The first thing they did, like all aspiring film moguls, is create a short film and then, naturally, go to the Sundance Film Festival with it and show it off to all the other Hollywood emperors of film. Now us common folk get to see the film too.

Well it certainly has been a been a while (and for good reason) but Slipknot fans in Athens, Greece were the first to see the masked metal marauders back on stage for the first time since the death of bassist Paul Gray in May of 2010.
