Sunday, June 19th, 2011

So the soundtrack for Transformers: Dark of the Moon is in stores as we speak. While you may be excited about a re-hashing of some non-new tracks from bands like Linkin Park, Theory of a Deadman and Staind, you may be interested in this particular song.
On the iTunes version of the OST, a previously unheard track from Stone Sour called "The Pessimist" makes an appearance. The song was recorded during sessions for the… Read More

Stone Sour, Theory of a Deadman headlining Avalanche tour

Thursday, January 27th, 2011

Stone Sour, Theory of a Deadman, Halestorm, Skillet and Art of Dying will be the first bands to ever play on the first annual Avalanche tour. Why it's called an Avalanche tour is beyond me considering the tour runs from Match to May...and a lot of the shows are in Texas where people don't know what an avalanche looks like...but I digress.
The tour kicks off on March 24th in Chicago, IL and comes to a close on May 1st in Uncasville, CT. Tickets go on sale… Read More

Avenged Sevenfold announce new US tour

Sunday, November 14th, 2010

Since demand was so high for Avenged Sevenfold tickets during their last tour, they decided to be cool and hook fans up with a new tour dubbed the Nightmare After Christmas tour.
A7X announced 18 dates that will kick off January 20th in Reading, PA and it'll go until February 12th with a final show in Kennewick, WA. Making the tour even more gooder (it's a real word) is that Stone Sour will be opening for them. Sadly, Hollywood Undead is also on the bill… Read More

Monday, June 28th, 2010

If what Slipknot guitarist Jim Root says is true, then we'll be waiting at least two years to MAYBE see the return of Slipknot.
Root was interviewed at the Sonisphere festival where he was playing with Stone Sour. The band's new album, Audio Secrecy, is out later this September. He said that his main priority now is "concentrating on releasing… Read More

Thursday, June 10th, 2010

Stone Sour has made the first move in creating hype for their upcoming album Audio Secrecy by releasing a brand new song for you to download.
The song, "Mission Statement", isn't the band's first single from this album but it could very well be. It's a rocker through and through that fans will be singing along to with Corey Taylor. If you make your way over to their official website, you'll be able to download… Read More
