Well it looks like the hiatus is over. The Killers' frontman Brandon Flowers recently confirmed to BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe that the dance-rock band will be releasing a new album in 2012. Flowers told Lowe, regarding the release date, "It's just whether it's [released in] the summertime or the wintertime."
