Watch: The Strokes – “Taken For A Fool”

Friday, July 8th, 2011

Up top, you can check out the brand new video for the band's new single, "Taken For A Fool," (via CoS) which does feature the band simply performing the song but visually it knocks you right on your posterior. The way it was filmed makes it look like a mix of a 3D movie with a strange psychedelic look that features frontman Julian Casablancas appearing on different… Read More

Now, thanks to our buddies at our favorite Seattle radio station, 107.7 The End, you can check out two new songs from the album, "Machu Picchu" and "Taken For A Fool." Personally, when I first heard "Machu Picchu" a few weeks back, I immediately thought it… Read More

Watch: The Strokes perform on Saturday Night Live

Sunday, March 6th, 2011

For the third time, the Strokes made their return to the stage of Saturday Night Live to perform two songs from their forthcoming album, Angles. Up top you can watch their performance of the new single, "Under Cover Of Darkness," which features frontman Julian Casablancas and his "I'll perform but continue to look really bored" attitude. Although, right before the song ends, a loud "fuck it!" exits his lips on national television. That phrase pretty much sums up the… Read More
