Blog is proud to announce the winner of our very first battle for the title of Band Of The Month goes to California’s very own This Nightmare Ends At Sunrise.



This metal band came out on top with the most votes and has the distinction of telling everyone they know that they are the band of the month on the RiO!B.

Recently, however, the band suffered a tragic loss. Their guitarist, Kenny Yates, recently passed away and we would like to send our thoughts and condolences to Kenny’s family, friends and band mates. The group is currently on break as they try to restructure their line up. Hopefully they continue to rock out in Kenny’s name.

What you should do is head over to their Myspace page and drown yourself in the hardcore sounds that this band has to offer. It’s sure not to disappoint fans of the genre. Congratulations to This Nightmare Ends At Sunrise!

Band of the Week champion hails from the Golden State of California but their music is anything but sunny and cheery.



The band known as This Nightmare Ends At Sunrise is that band that you’ll blast really loud to annoy the crap outta your little sister if she keeps playing her Ke$ha CD. It’s loud, demonic hardcore screamo music that will make you want to fight someone in a concrete room even if you had absolutely no desire to.
