Watch: Atoms For Peace at Coachella

Tuesday, April 20th, 2010

I finally found them! Didn't think it would take this long but they're finally here.
Of course, I'm talking about videos of Thom Yorke's funky new band Atoms For Peace. They played the Coachella festival over the weekend and, based on the videos, they killed it!
It's amazing what a live band can do for Thom's songs from his 2006 solo album The Eraser. I love the album but I love it even more now because of the added funk provided by the bass… Read More

Friday, April 16th, 2010

Seeing Atoms For Peace live was such a huge thrill for me as I'm a massive Radiohead fan. So it's good to see Thom Yorke, Flea and the rest of the guys crushing it every time they play a live show. Ah, if I were only at Coachella… Read More

Watch: Thom Yorke debuts new song

Tuesday, April 6th, 2010

Last night, Thom Yorke's new band Atoms For Peace kicked off their mini-tour in New York City and I was lucky enough to go to the show.

Songs like "Harrowdown Hill", "The Clock" and album closer "Cymbal Rush" all had a new life to them thanks to the funkiness (and blue hair) supplied… Read More

I know we just announced some big news about Thom Yorke yesterday but at this point you should know that whatever the man does will probably be talked about here...and on every other website.
That being said, Radiohead's ringleader debuted three new songs last night at a solo show in Cambridge, England at a Green Party benefit show. The new songs are known as "The Daily Mail",… Read More

Thom Yorke announces U.S. tour

Thursday, February 25th, 2010

Thom Yorke, you shifty little Englishman. With all the snow that's coming down on the east coast today, you have managed to brighten my whole weekend.
Thom Yorke ??? (that's the name of his solo band, btw) has announced a small U.S. tour this April. The band, which Thom has now said will be called Atoms For Peace, will play a few club dates before their massive show at Coachella in California. New York, Chicago… Read More
