Black Sabbath cancels European reunion tour dates

This isn't fun for anyone. Sorry, Black Sabbath fans, but if you were all set to see the legendary metal band back in action this summer, you're not gonna get your chance.

Tony Iommi has been diagnosed with lymphoma

This is never any fun. It's been reported that Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi has been diagnosed with early stages of lymphoma. For those that don't know what lymphoma is, it's a form of cancer that attacks the lymphocytes which are a type of cell that form part of the immune system.

It's finally official. After making us all wait for longer than necessary, the reunited members of Black Sabbath announced they are releasing a new album and will tour the world in 2012. Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward convened at the Whisky-A-Go-Go in Los Angeles at 11:11 am PST on November 11th to make the announcement.
