Müenster, Germany is representing loud and fast as our RiO! Band of the Week is the metal group Versus The Throne.

This five-piece German hardcore band does not screw around as their music is metal to the bone. Screaming vocals mixed with hard yet melodic guitar assaults and pounding drums, I’m pretty sure that this band is the soundtrack to many a German dominatrix as she beats her slaves.

Their Myspace page is the place you wanna head to so you can check out their music, pics, videos and get information on their brand new album Ruins Afire. Will Versus The Throne go on to become the RiO! Band of the Month for February? Only time will tell but I have a feeling that if they lose that battle then they may beat me in my sleep.
